[293] 不回向也能获大益吗？
[293] [Is] Not Dedicating Also Able [To] Obtain Great Benefits?
◎ 不能。以凡夫无正念回向之力，则所修俱归人天福报。
◎ [Summary]: [It is] not able [to do so]. With ordinary beings without [the] power of Right Mindfulness [when] dedicating, then that cultivated [will] together return [to be] human [and] heavenly blessed rewards.
悟正谓不回向，亦能获大益，此语欠妥。以凡夫无正念回向之力，则所修俱归人天福报。
[On] Wùzhèng’s speaking [of] not dedicating, also [being] able [to] obtain great benefits, these words [are] improper. With ordinary beings without [the] power of Right Mindfulness [when] dedicating, then that cultivated [will] together return [to be] human [and] heavenly blessed rewards.
不回向，令久亡父母获益超度，唯得道圣人则可。
[With] not dedicating, enabling long deceased fathers [and] mothers [to] obtain transcendental deliverance, only noble persons [who have] attained [the] path can then [do so].
悟正之语，混凡圣为一概，不可依从。依之则勿道不得往生，即人天福报，亦不稳妥。
[As the] words of Wùzhèng, mix [that on the] ordinary [and] noble [to] be [the] same, [they] must not [be] complied with. Relying on this, then not speaking [of] not attaining rebirth [in Pure Land], even [for] human [and] heavenly blessed rewards, [they are] also not reliable.
以无感不能仗佛力，但任己修持，比诚感者相去悬远。
With not connecting, not able [to] rely on [the] Buddha’s power, only relying on [one’s] own practice, compared [with] those sincerely connecting, [they are] very far apart from each other.
