不退转偈
Verses On Non-Retrogression
欲生极乐，得不退转，
应当此时，起行往前。
Desiring to be born in the Pure Land Of Ultimate Bliss, to attain non-retrogression, there should be, in this moment, starting the journey [with Practice], to go towards it.
从念至念，信愿念佛，
即是时时，往西行去。
From thought to thought, with Faith and Aspiration mindful of Āmítuófó’s name, thus is, from moment to moment, towards his Western Land, [with Practice], going there.
念佛不退，已是不退，
前往极乐，行不退路。
With mindfulness of Āmítuófó not retrogressing, this already is not retrogressing, in going towards the Land Of Ultimate Bliss, walking [with Practice], on non-retrogression’s path.
