西方有十种胜
[43] [The] Western [Pure Land] Has Ten Kinds [Of] Excellences
[1]—[5] 秽净有天渊之别
[1]—[5] Defilements [and] purity have differences of [the] sky [and] abyss
[1]—[4], [6]—[10] 苦乐有天渊之别
[1]—[4], [6]—[10] Suffering [and] bliss have differences of [the] sky [and] abyss
[4]—[7], [9]—[10] 难易有天渊之别
[4]—[7], [9]—[10] Difficulties [and] ease have differences of [the] sky [and] abyss
[1] 莲花化生——较之生长胞胎者
[1] Lotus Flowers’ Transformed Births: Comparing them [with] those born [and] grown [from] wombs
[2] 相好端严——较之肉躯丑陋者
[2] Forms’ Excellences’ Upright [And] Majestic: Comparing them [with] those flesh bodies ugly
[3] 黄金为地——较之尘沙垢秽者
[3] Gold As Ground: Comparing them [with] those dust [and] sands’ dirt [and] defilements
[4] 衣食自然——较之饥寒冻馁者
[4] Clothing [And] Food Natural: Comparing them [with] those hungry [and] cold, freezing [and] starving
[5] 宫殿随意——较之创作艰难者
[5] Palace Halls Accordingly [As] Wished: Comparing them [with] those creating [with] difficulties
[6] 飞行自在——较之革囊多病者
[6] Flight [With] Ease: Comparing them [with] those skin bags [with] many sicknesses
[7] 善友爱敬——较之冤家会聚者
[7] Good Friends Loving [And] Reverent: Comparing them [with] those enemies assembling
[8] 寿命无量——较之乍生乍死者
[8] Lifespans Immeasurable: Comparing them [with] those suddenly born [and] suddenly dying
[9] 永不退转——较之业缘障道者
[9] Forever Not Retrogressible: Comparing them [with] those karmic conditions obstructing [the] path
[10] 授记成佛——较之频入三途者
[10] Conferred [With] Predictions [To] Accomplish Buddhahood: Comparing them [with] those frequently entering [the] three paths
