厌求偈
Verse On Revulsion And Seeking
既要厌离娑婆，
又要欣求极乐。
单厌离少求处，
单欣求少离故。
There must both be revulsed renunciation of this Sahā World,
and also must be joyful seeking of the Land Of Ultimate Bliss.
If only with revulsed renunciation, this lacks the place sought;
if only with joyful seeking, this lacks departure’s reasons.
四更偈
Verses On Four Even Mores
贪恋娑婆，
更应厌离，
欣求极乐。
With greedy attachment to this Sahā World,
even more should there be revulsed renunciation,
with joyful seeking of the Land Of Ultimate Bliss.
看破娑婆，
更应厌离，
欣求极乐。
Seeing through this Sahā World,
even more should there be revulsed renunciation,
with joyful seeking of the Land Of Ultimate Bliss.
真认净土，
更应厌离，
欣求极乐。
Truly recognising Āmítuófó’s Pure Land,
even more should there be revulsed renunciation,
with joyful seeking of the Land Of Ultimate Bliss.
不识净土，
更应厌离，
欣求极乐。
Not knowing Āmítuófó’s Pure Land,
even more should there be revulsed renunciation,
with joyful seeking of the Land Of Ultimate Bliss.
