[99] With The Word ‘Death’ Hanging On Your Forehead

[99] [With The] Word ‘Death’ Hanging On [Your] Forehead

Now fortunately [having] attained this great human’s body, [you have] also heard of [the] most difficult [to] hear Pure Land Dharma Door.

[How can you] dare [to be] those [who] use [your] limited time, for sounds [i.e. songs], forms [i.e. sex], goods [and] benefits, consuming [them until they are] nearly exhausted, causing you [to] still [be with] living in vain [and] dying without value, [to] still again sink [in the] six paths, [with] seeking [of] exit without [a] date?

[There] should directly [be] using [of this] one word [of] ‘death’, hanging [it] on top [of your] forehead. (This word [is] very good.)

[Of] all situations not appropriate [for] greedy attachment that appear before [you], then know that these [are] my cauldron’s hot water [and] stove’s charcoal [in hell later], then absolutely not going so far, [to be] like [a] flying moth going [into a] fire, [to] personally obtain burning [of your] body.

Of all those matters [on my] part [that] should [be] done, then know [that] these [form] my ship of compassion [for] exiting suffering[‘s ocean], then absolutely not going so far, [when] bearing benevolence, again and again complying [with it], seeing [the] righteous, [yet] not doing [it].

Thus then, [with the] dusts’ realms, then can [they] become conditions [for] entering [the] path. Why must [there be] ridding [and] severing [of the] dusts’ conditions, [to] then [be] adequately capable [of] cultivating [the] path?
