弥陀饶舌偈
永明莲宗祖，饶舌对王说，
长耳之和尚，是定光如来。
Verse On Āmítuófó Speaking ‘Too Much’
Great Master Yǒngmíng, the Lotus (Pure Land) Tradition’s Sixth Patriarch, who first spoke ‘too much’, to Wúyuè’s King (吴越王) said, that the Monk With Long Ears, is Concentration’s Light Thus Come One.
定光饶舌偈
燃灯古佛祖，饶舌对人说，
延寿大国师，是阿弥陀佛。

Lamp-Lighter (Concentration’s Light) Ancient Buddha, who next spoke ‘too much’, to the King’s men said, the State Teacher Great Master (Yǒngmíng) Yánshòu, is Āmítuófó (Amitābha; Amitāyus Buddha).
