唐长安尼净真
[15] Táng [Dynasty’s] Cháng’ān’s Bhikṣuṇī Jìngzhēn
净真，住长安积善寺，衲衣乞食，一生无瞋。
Jìngzhēn, lived [in] Cháng’ān’s Jīshàn [i.e. Accumulation (Of) Good] Temple. [Every day, she wore her] monastic robes [to] beg [for alms] food, [and was with] all [of her] life without anger.
诵《金刚经》十万遍，专精念佛。
[She] recited [the] Vajra Sūtra ten thousand times, [and] focused diligently [on] recitation [of the] Buddha[‘s name].
显庆五年染疾，告弟子云：「五月内十度见阿弥陀佛，两度见极乐世界宝莲华上童子游戏，吾得上品往生。」
[In] Xiǎnqìng’s fifth year [i.e. 660 C.E.], [she] told [her] disciples, ‘Within [the] fifth month, [as I had] ten times seen Amitā[bha] Buddha, [and] two times seen [the] Land [Of] Ultimate Bliss’ treasure lotus pond, [with] youths playing above, I [will] attain [the] High Grade’s rebirth.’
言讫，跏趺而去。光照其寺。
[With these] words completed, [she] sat [in the] lotus posture and departed, [as] light illuminated that temple.
