修诸教偈
Verses On Cultivation Of All Teachings
诸教偈
诸恶莫作，
众善奉行，
自净其意，
是诸佛教。
释迦牟尼佛
《法句经》第183偈
Verse On All Teachings
[Of] all evil not do,
[of] all good practise,
[and to] self-purify this mind,
[these] are all Buddhas’ teachings.
Śākyamuni Buddha

诸修偈
当下念佛，
止恶行善，
以自他力，
圆净其意。
[阿弥陀佛:
万德洪名]
Verse On All Cultivation
At once mindful [of] Buddha,
end evil [and] practise good,
[and] with Self [and] Other-power,
completely purify this mind.
[Āmítuófó (Amitābha Buddha):
Great name of 10,000 virtues]
阿字十方三世佛，
弥字一切诸菩萨，
陀字八万诸圣教，
三字之中是具足。
释迦牟尼佛
《佛说阿弥陀佛根本秘密神咒经》
[As in the] word ‘Ā’ [are the] ten directions’ [and] three periods’ Buddhas, [in the] word ‘Mí’ [are] all Bodhisattvas, [and in the] word ‘Tuó’ (Tā) [are] all 84,000 noble teachings, [of these] three words within is [spiritual] completion [and perfection].

Note: When sincerely mindful of Buddha’s name, in the very moment, evil is being ended, good is being practised, and with one’s Self-power connected to the Buddha’s Other-power, there will be advancement towards complete purification of the mind, here and in his Pure Land.
