念佛具足六度万行,而今
Mindfulness of Buddha is complete with the Six Paramitas (Perfections) and the ten thousand practices. Now,

一心念佛,万缘自舍,即布施波罗蜜;
Singlemindedly mindful of Buddha,
the ten thousand conditions are self abandoned.
This is the Paramita of Giving (Dana: Generosity).

一心念佛,诸恶自止,即持戒波罗密;
Singlemindedly mindful of Buddha,
all evils are self-halted.
This is the Paramita of Upholding the Precepts (Sila: Morality or Discipline).

一心念佛,心自柔软,即忍辱波罗蜜;
Singlemindedly mindful of Buddha,
the mind becomes self-tender (gentle or gracious).
This is the Paramita of Patience (Ksanti: Forebearance or Tolerance).

一心念佛,永不退堕,即精进波罗蜜;
Singlemindedly mindful of Buddha,
forever not retrogressing (backsliding).
This is the Paramita of Diligence (Viriya: Energy, Vigour, Effort or Perseverance).

一心念佛,余想不生,即禅定波罗蜜;
Singlemindedly mindful of Buddha,
with (other) endless thoughts not arising,
This is the Paramita of Concentration (Dhyana: or Samadhi).

一心念佛,正念分明,即般若波罗蜜。
Singlemindedly mindful of Buddha,
with right mindfulness that is clear.
This is the Paramita of Prajna (Wisdom or Insight).

推而极之,不出一心,万行具足。
Extending this to the utmost,
not beyond singlemindedness,
the ten thousand practices are complete.
